In Autumn 2016, the Festival Images, Montreux-Vevey Tourism and the Summit Foundation - on the occasion of its 15th anniversary - presented TimeAlps, a unique and participatory photographic project aimed at conveying the beauty of mountain landscapes. Visitors were invited to use their phones to immortalise the Alps via terminals installed on the quays of Vevey. Assembled digitally, the images were used to compose a collective panorama. Taking the form of a time-lapse, or rather a time-lapse animation consisting of a series of shots, the result was exhibited during the Festival Images 2016. The spectators were able to discover a new, anachronistic and evolving panoramic view, where the emblematic Fork planted in the lake suddenly rubbed shoulders with the seahorse fountain of the Jardins du Rivage.
