The Mood Edition is a collector's piece. Unlike the standard version, which serves as a blank canvas, this edition features a permanent engraving by artist Milica Slacanin Perez from WOW! Illustration on the diffuser.
It is further distinguished by its exclusive color, Lunar Grey, a glossy finish developed solely for this collaboration.
Who is Milica Slacanin Perez of WOW! Illustrations?
WOW! Illustrations, founded in 2020 by Milica Slacanin Perez, explores the boundaries between illustration, design, and scenography. Her creations (silkscreen prints, objects, murals, installations) fully inhabit spaces with a strong visual identity and a committed stance for a free and positive representation of the body.
Why this collaboration on the Mood lamp?
This singular piece was born from a meeting at the 2024 Design Days in Lausanne, a flagship event for contemporary Swiss design.
Milica Slacanin Perez (founder of WOW! Illustration) and Julien Garnier (founder of Puzz’le Design Studio) discovered shared human and professional affinities, which they continued to cultivate within an informal collective of designers. Inspiring meetings, exhibitions, and visits (notably to Horgenglarus in Glarus) fueled their exchanges.
From this creative emulation grew the idea of an artistic collaboration centered on the Mood lamp.
Is the Mood Edition made in Switzerland?
Yes, just like the classic version, this special edition is a 100% Swiss creation, designed and manufactured in Switzerland. It proudly bears the Swiss Label, guaranteeing local precision and high-quality manufacturing.
Is the chalk marker included with this edition?
No, the chalk marker is not included with the Mood Edition. Since the illustration is engraved directly into the diffuser material, the surface is not intended for drawing, but rather to showcase Milica Slacanin Perez's artwork.
Is the bulb included with the lamp?
Absolutely. Each lamp is delivered ready to use with a dimmable LED bulb. You can choose between a cotton cable equipped with either a switch or a dimmer to set the ambiance as you wish.
What is the light intensity and color temperature of the bulb?
The provided bulb features an intensity of 60 Lm (50/60 Hz) and a color temperature of 1800 K. This corresponds to a very warm light, similar to the glow of a candle, ideal for creating a soft, soothing ambiance.
How do I care for the engraved diffuser of my Mood Edition?
Care remains very simple. For the engraved diffuser, remove it from the electrical system and clean it gently with a soft cloth or a non-abrasive sponge and a little water.
